Abstract

India’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 symbolizes the nation’s aspiration to become a developed, self-reliant, and equitable society by the centenary of its independence. This vision is deeply aligned with the philosophy of Integral Humanism propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, which emphasizes holistic development — material, moral, and spiritual — based on India’s cultural ethos. Upadhyay’s ideals of Antyodaya (upliftment of the last person), self-reliance, ethical governance, and decentralized economy form a timeless framework for balanced national growth. This paper examines how his philosophy provides both moral and practical direction for achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat @2047, integrating human-centric development with sustainability, inclusivity, and cultural continuity.
