Abstract

Strength and conditioning (S&C) programs are integral to athletic performance, injury prevention, and overall physical development. Sports-specific S&C programs are tailored to meet the unique demands of individual sports, ensuring athletes achieve optimal performance. This article provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of sports-specific S&C programs, examining their design, implementation, and effectiveness across various sports. The study reviews existing literature, analyzes methodologies, and discusses outcomes to highlight the importance of sport-specific training. The findings emphasize the need for individualized programs that consider the physiological, biomechanical, and psychological demands of each sport. The article concludes with recommendations for practitioners and future research directions.
