Climate change and its influence on global migration patterns
Abstract
Climate change is increasingly being recognized as a driving force behind global migration patterns. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and sea-level rise have forced millions of people to leave their homes, creating new migratory flows across borders. This paper explores the link between climate change and migration, analyzing the causes and consequences of climate-induced displacement, as well as the socio-economic and political implications. Through a review of existing literature and case studies, this paper highlights the need for global policy responses to address climate-induced migration and the vulnerabilities of affected populations.
